Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at AdventHealth Orlando, where you will provide exceptional care to pregnant moms and their families in our high-risk maternity unit.

About the Role:

The ideal candidate will have a passion for delivering comprehensive care to patients with complex medical needs. As a Registered Professional Nurse, you will be responsible for assessing patient needs, developing individualized care plans, and implementing evidence-based interventions to promote optimal outcomes.

Responsibilities:

  • Patient Assessment: Conduct thorough assessments of patients to identify their physical, emotional, and spiritual needs.
  • Care Planning: Develop and implement individualized care plans that address patient needs and goals.
  • Medication Management: Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, ensuring safe and effective care.
  • Collaboration: Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care and achieve positive patient outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred
  • Licensure: Current valid State of Florida or multistate license as a Registered Nurse
  • Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification; Advanced Life Support Certifications (ACLS, PALS, NRP) per specialty/unit requirements
