Salary Information

The estimated salary range for this position is $85,000 - $115,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. This figure takes into account the average cost of living in Orlando, Florida, and the requirements of the role.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Labor and Delivery team at AdventHealth Orlando. As a Nurse Specialist for Maternal Care, you will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients during labor, delivery, and postpartum periods. Your expertise will play a critical role in ensuring the best possible outcomes for our patients and their families.

As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work with a multidisciplinary group of healthcare professionals who share your passion for delivering exceptional patient care. You will be supported by our state-of-the-art facilities and equipment, as well as our comprehensive education and training programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized nursing care to patients during labor, delivery, and postpartum periods
  • Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans
  • Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify patient needs and develop effective interventions
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including medication administration and vital signs
  • Participate in ongoing education and training programs to stay current with best practices and advancements in maternal care

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN)
  • Current valid State of Florida or multistate license as a Registered Nurse (RN)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
  • Advanced Life Support Certifications (ACLS, PALS, NRP) per specialty/unit requirements
