Medicinal Chemist

The Medicinal Chemist will oversee the chemistry and drug metabolism and pharmacokinetics (DMPK) aspects of ongoing and future small molecule programs. This role involves managing design, synthesis, analytical characterization, analyzing ADME, PK, biological data, and drawing SAR conclusions to inform compound disposition and testing.

• Manage the chemistry and DMPK aspects of small molecule programs
• Design, synthesize, and characterize compounds
• Analyze ADME, PK, and biological data to inform compound development
• Draw SAR conclusions to guide compound optimization
• Coordinate compound disposition and testing
• Lead regular video calls with CROs to manage project activities
• Interact with internal project teams to share data and inform decision-making
• Coordinate data collection and IP attorney interactions

• Ph.D. in Organic or Medicinal Chemistry
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in pharma/biotech industry
• Experience conducting duties described for this position
• Expertise in analyzing biological data and drawing SAR conclusions
