Medicinal Chemist

The Medicinal Chemist will oversee the chemistry and drug metabolism and pharmacokinetics (DMPK) aspects of ongoing and future small molecule programs. This includes managing design, synthesis, analytical characterization, analyzing ADME, PK, biological data, and drawing SAR conclusions. The successful candidate will lead the medicinal chemistry of drug discovery projects, identify and manage CROs, and coordinate with IP attorneys for patent applications.

• Manage the chemistry and DMPK aspects of small molecule programs
• Design, synthesize, and characterize compounds
• Analyze ADME, PK, and biological data
• Draw SAR conclusions and design new compounds
• Lead medicinal chemistry of drug discovery projects
• Identify and manage CROs for ADME, PK, and tolerability studies
• Coordinate with IP attorneys for patent applications

• Ph.D. in Organic or Medicinal Chemistry
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in pharma/biotech industry
• Demonstrated experience in medicinal chemistry of drug discovery projects
• Experience in managing CROs and ADME, PK, and tolerability studies
