Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our team at bty DENTAL Group, LLC. As a key member of our clinical staff, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our doctors in delivering top-notch dental services.

Responsibilities
  • Greets patients in the waiting area and escorts them to the treatment rooms.
  • Assists patients in resolving minor issues, answers their questions, and provides directions as authorized by the dentist or clinician.
  • Advocates for a positive atmosphere of good dental and general health by demonstrating good oral hygiene practices, questioning patients about their home care habits, and instructing them on proper flossing and brushing techniques.
  • Maintains a clean and organized working environment, adhering to current infection control procedures.
  • Reviews patient health histories, makes chart entries under the direction of the assigned dentist, and ensures completion of forms and signatures.
  • Assumes responsibility for delegated tasks and duties as assigned by the dentist.
  • Educates patients about their dental visit and provides support and compassion when needed.
  • Reviews daily schedules to set up operatory and instruments.
  • Assists with front office procedures as needed or assigned by the local manager or dentist.
  • Supervises preventive maintenance of dental equipment.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by the immediate superior.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position working 8-hour shifts, Monday to Friday, with opportunities for overtime. The work setting is in a clinic, with in-person interactions with patients and colleagues.
