Program Manager for F-35 Lifecycle Support

Job Description

gTANGIBLE Corporation is seeking a highly experienced Program Manager to support the F-35 Joint Program Office Air Vehicle Program Management Office in its mission to provide lifecycle cost, schedule, and performance of aircraft, avionics, sensors, weapons integration, and modifications in the F-35 Lightning II Enterprise.

The successful candidate will assist the AV PMO in providing development, production, modifications, and sustainment of the AV, as well as managing the requirements, development, testing, qualification, and sustainment of Below-the-Neck F-35 PFE and Helmet Mounted Display System (HMDS).

Key responsibilities include:

  • Assisting the AV PMO in providing development, production, modifications, and sustainment of the AV.
  • Managing the requirements, development, testing, qualification, and sustainment of Below-the-Neck F-35 PFE.
  • Assisting the AV PMO in managing the development, procurement, and sustainment of F-35 HMDS.
  • Providing airborne systems capable of operating effectively in highly contested battle spaces now and in the foreseeable future.
  • Providing manpower and material support to the Integrated Test Force (ITFs) and Supplier labs to enable F-35 Development, Sustainment, and Production efforts.
  • Providing life limiting modification and Flight Test Instrumentation (FTI) sustainment support for the Developmental Test fleet aircraft to enable Block 3 and Block 4 testing.

Requirements include:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Management or related discipline and 6 years of experience in program management, technical or business analysis discipline.
  • At least 2 years in support of a Major Defense Acquisition Program.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Service and OSD policy and documentation related to PPBS, life-cycle management of military acquisition programs.
  • Must have experience processing program acquisition, funding and contract documentation for military aircraft programs both domestic and international.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of and experience dealing with DoD reporting tools and major reports.
