Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Physical Therapy Aide to join our team at Athletico Physical Therapy. As a Physical Therapy Aide, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our clinical staff in delivering high-quality services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare patients for physical therapy treatments, including applying and removing supportive devices, and assisting physical therapists during treatment sessions.
  • Safeguard, motivate, and assist patients in practicing exercises and functional activities under the direction of professional staff.
  • Provide routine treatments, such as hot/cold packs, and other modalities, as directed by physical therapists.
  • Clean and maintain the work area and equipment after treatment sessions.
  • Assist with administrative tasks, including answering phones, scheduling appointments, and filing paperwork.
  • Help maintain inventory and order supplies as needed.
Requirements
  • High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous clinical experience or training in a related field is a plus.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English proficiently.
  • Basic knowledge of office equipment and software.
Work Environment

This is an internal office position with a low noise level. The ideal candidate will be able to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a high level of productivity while providing excellent patient care.
