Job Overview

We are seeking a highly qualified Special Education Lead Teacher and Program Manager to join our team. This individual will be responsible for overseeing the Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students receiving special education services, ensuring full compliance with state and federal regulations.

Responsibilities

  • ">
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students receiving special education services

    ">">
  • Provide educational service minutes for scholars on their caseload as the primary function of their job responsibilities

    ">">
  • Oversee the implementation of IEPs and ensure full compliance with state and federal regulations

    ">">
  • Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and administrators to develop and implement strategies to support students with special needs

    ">">
  • Monitor student progress and make data-driven decisions to inform instruction

    ">">
  • Communicate regularly with parents and guardians to keep them informed of their child's progress

    ">">
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of student progress and IEPs

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • ">
  • Bachelor's degree in Special Education, Psychology, or related field; Master's degree preferred

    ">">
  • Valid Wisconsin Special Education teaching or administrative license

    ">">
  • Thorough knowledge of the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) and other relevant federal and state laws

    ">">
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to maintain detailed records

    ">">
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with students, parents, and staff

  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Compensation

The estimated salary for this position is $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
