The Senior Credit Analyst will engage in daily credit risk optimization tasks and oversee credit exposure.The ideal candidate for this role must possess strong written and verbal communication abilities, excellent analytical and critical thinking skills, and the capacity to manage multiple priorities while understanding risk-reward dynamics.
This individual will prioritize delivering exceptional customer service and value creation for our organization.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
The Senior Credit Analyst's responsibilities will encompass, but are not limited to:
- Oversee customer credit risk evaluations and the assignment of credit terms and conditions, monitor credit exposure and performance of trade customers to facilitate proactive risk management, and negotiate credit terms when customers do not meet established criteria.
- Gather and assess credit information and financial statements of new and existing clients to determine creditworthiness, evaluate credit risk, and recommend credit limits.
- Responsible for establishing customer accounts and maintaining customer master and credit records.
- Manage the review and revision of global credit and collection policies, practices, procedures, and customer lines regularly or upon request for existing accounts, and will revoke credit lines based on external information regarding the financial stability of accounts.
- Undertake special projects as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree (B.S/B.A) or equivalent experience preferred.
- 6+ years in high-tech corporate credit or banking, with problem-solving experience and understanding of financial statements, credit risk analysis, and credit practices preferred.
- Exceptional analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate and build effective relationships across the organization.
- Ability to organize and prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Must be adaptable and flexible to change.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- No remote or hybrid options available.
Salary Range
$90,000- $120,000
The salary offered will depend on various factors, including your location, level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience, and comparison to other employees in this role.
In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as participation in bonus and equity award programs.
