We are seeking a skilled Mental Health Counselor to join our team at Fort Lauderdale Behavioral Health Center. As a member of our multidisciplinary team, you will work with individuals to help them overcome psychological/emotional issues as well as substance abuse issues.
Key Responsibilities- Perform group, individual, and family therapy sessions
- Conduct psychosocial assessments and formulate treatment plans based on individual needs
- Recognize crisis situations and provide interventions
- Collaborate with peers, administrators, physicians, and allied staff

Qualifications- Master's degree from an accredited school in Social Work or Mental Health Counseling
- LMHC or LCSW in Florida required
- One year of experience working in a behavioral health center or psychiatric counseling setting with adults and/or children
