Job Summary:The Licensed Practical Nurse will work in a fast-paced psychiatric unit, providing direct patient care and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and compassionate nurse to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients and their families.
Responsibilities:- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing vital signs, and documenting patient information.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical and emotional needs, identifying areas for improvement and developing strategies to address them.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient progress and develop care plans.
- Ensure a safe and supportive environment for patients, families, and staff.
- Graduate of an accredited and/or approved practical nurse program.
- Current license as a practical nurse in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
- Current certification in CPR required.
- 2-4 years experience in healthcare and nursing services experience strongly preferred.
