Physician Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled Physician Assistant to join our team at Elev8 Center New York LLC. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive evaluations and treating adult substance use disorder patients.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct thorough evaluations with relevant history and health assessment based on patient signs and symptoms.
- Identify patient needs and make differential diagnoses based on clinical presentation, history, and findings.
- Conduct waived testing for urine, blood work, and glucose monitoring.
- Develop prioritized and mutually acceptable treatment plans according to written practice protocols in collaboration with physicians.
- Implement treatment plans with appropriate diagnostic tests, pharmacological and non-pharmacological interventions, patient education, and referrals as needed.
- Provide systematic follow-up by evaluating treatment effectiveness, therapeutic processes, and outcomes, and modifying treatments and management plans as necessary.
- Provide educational materials and information to patients to make informed decisions about their health promotion, illness prevention, and treatment.
- Bachelor's degree
- Current/valid New York State Physician Assistant (PA) license
- Currently registered as a registered professional Physician Assistant in good standing
- DEA license
- Current basic life support for health providers (BLS)
- Five (5) years of related work experience
- Computer skills
- Strong written and interpersonal communications skills
- Knowledge of computer-based data management programs and information systems, as well as medical records and point-of-interview technology
- Attention to detail
- Decision-making and problem-solving skills
