Ultimate Staffing is seeking a professional Collection Specialist to join our team in Buford, Georgia.
Job Summary:We are looking for a detail-oriented and results-driven individual to monitor accounts, investigate historical data, and communicate with clients to resolve outstanding debts.
Responsibilities:- Monitor accounts to identify overdue payments and take proactive measures to resolve them.
- Investigate historical data to understand the root cause of debts and develop effective strategies to collect them.
- Communicate with clients through phone calls, emails, or letters to discuss their debt status and negotiate payment plans.
- Process payments and refunds, update account records, and maintain accurate records of collection efforts.
- Resolve billing and customer credit issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Proven experience as a Collection Specialist or similar role, preferably in a financial institution or credit agency.
- Familiarity with laws related to debt collection, such as the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA).
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and database management systems.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to work independently and manage stress.
- High school diploma or equivalent; an associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred.
$45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
