Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Forensic Nurse Examiner to join our team at Providence Office Park Portland Bldg. As a Forensic Nurse Examiner, you will provide timely and compassionate care to patients seeking medical-forensic exams, adhering to established protocols. Your expertise will include completing medical-forensic exams, providing prophylaxis for pregnancy and sexually transmitted infections, photographic documentation, and referring patients for appropriate medical and psychological follow-up.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct medical-forensic exams in accordance with established protocols
  • Provide prophylaxis for pregnancy and sexually transmitted infections
  • Document examinations and referrals
  • Collaborate with community partners, including advocacy agencies, law enforcement, prosecutors, and child and vulnerable adult protection agencies
Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program
  • Oregon Registered Nurse License
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
  • 1 year Nursing experience
Preferred Qualifications
  • SANE-A or SANE-OR Certification
