Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Medical Forensic Nurse to join our team at Providence RN. As a Medical Forensic Nurse, you will provide timely and compassionate care to patients seeking medical-forensic exams in accordance with established protocols.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct medical-forensic exams, providing prophylaxis for pregnancy and sexually transmitted infections, and completing referrals for appropriate medical and psychological follow-up.
  • Collaborate with community partners, including advocacy agencies, law enforcement, prosecutors, and child and vulnerable adult protection agencies, as applicable.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities to ensure timely and effective care.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current on best practices and protocols in medical-forensic nursing.
Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
  • ~ 1 year Nursing experience.
