Role Summary
The RPLS Project Manager plays a pivotal role in our surveying division, tasked with the comprehensive management of survey projects from start to finish. This position demands adept project oversight, effective client interaction, team leadership, and a commitment to delivering precise and superior surveying outcomes.
Core Responsibilities
- Project Development: Collaborate with clients to establish project parameters, goals, and deliverables. Formulate detailed project plans encompassing timelines, budgets, and resource needs.
- Client Engagement: Foster and sustain robust client relationships, acting as the primary liaison for all project-related communications. Provide timely updates on project status and modifications.
- Team Leadership: Assemble and guide project teams, including survey crews and support personnel. Delegate tasks, prioritize project activities, and ensure alignment with overall project objectives.
- Financial Oversight: Supervise project budgets and resource distribution to guarantee efficient project execution. Acquire necessary tools, materials, and subcontractor services as required.
- Quality Control: Ensure the execution of survey projects meets accuracy standards and produces high-quality results. Implement quality assurance protocols throughout the project lifecycle.
- Documentation Management: Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including plans, progress reports, and client correspondence. Prepare and evaluate survey reports and deliverables.
- Invoicing Management: Assess ongoing projects and determine invoicing timelines. Ensure all project documentation is complete prior to invoice generation and collaborate with relevant personnel to address payment follow-ups.
- Risk Assessment: Identify potential project risks and devise strategies to mitigate them, ensuring timely project completion.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Land Surveying, Geomatics, or a related discipline is preferred.
- Registered Professional Land Surveyor (RPLS) certification is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated experience in project management within the land surveying sector is preferred.
- Proven ability to manage multiple surveying projects successfully.
- Exceptional project management capabilities, including budgeting and scheduling.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with a focus on client relationship management.
- Familiarity with surveying principles, methodologies, and software tools.
- Proficient in project management software and tools.
- Valid driver's license and readiness to travel as necessary.
