Container Garden Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Container Garden Manager to join our team at NatureWorks Landscape Services. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for curating the colors, plant palettes, and design of custom planted arrangements.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop a comprehensive aesthetic plan for each season, specifying products to be used, pairings, and arrangements.
- Continuously explore new products and features to differentiate our offerings in the market and enhance brand recognition.
- Identify vendors and build strong relationships to leverage purchasing power.
- Participate in long-range planning and establish contract grow solutions with vendors for long-term product availability.
- Establish an annual calendar outlining plans for each season and ensure timely delivery of each seasonal decor round.
- Support sales and estimating by collecting and understanding production metrics to accurately sell and estimate products and services.
- Collaborate with Account Managers and clients to identify the scope of work, elements, and project deliverables.
- Ensure proper tracking and management of physical and financial inventory. Capture data for informed purchase planning.
- Support field execution with training, layout, instruction, and troubleshooting as needed.
- Manage direct staff and establish expectations and delivery standards for indirect staff.
- Ensure the field team is well-prepared for successful project execution.
- Work with a team of experts in the office and in the field.
- Contribute to the team to improve process, product, and results.
- Use and master industry software.
- A passion for and knowledge of horticulture, design.
- Keen knowledge of annual, perennial, and woody plants and their cultural needs in a nursery and landscape setting.
- Direct experience in the design and installation of planters and gardens.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills.
- Strong written, verbal, and graphic communication.
- Acumen for taking an idea from concept to execution.

Job Type: Full-time (Salary) Exempt
Qualifications:
4+ years field experience in horticultural sales and operations.
A degree in a related field preferred, MCLP and MCH certifications are a plus.
Must have a valid Driver's License with a clean driving record.
