Position Overview:
The OneStream Solutions Architect will oversee the daily operations, implementation, and enhancement of the OneStream application.

This role will deliver a comprehensive range of data, reporting, and system support to OneStream users while collaborating closely with the IT department.

This position is crucial for ensuring the effective utilization and adoption of the OneStream application by providing technical assistance, implementing enhancements, and managing ongoing implementation phases.

The OneStream Solutions Architect will advocate for the OneStream platform, manage data integrations, oversee build activities, and facilitate report development. This role will also promote user adoption and provide training for the global finance team.

Moreover, this position will drive process improvements related to month-end close, reporting, and planning activities by leveraging OneStream technology and implementing best practices.

This role will report to the Director of Financial Systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the build tasks and activities for the OneStream application.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to functional and development teams for new implementations, enhancements, and ongoing support.
  • Translate business requirements into detailed technical specifications and execute builds using tools on the OneStream Platform.
  • Maintain and establish API connections with internal IT and external vendors to support Financial Consolidations and ESG reporting.
  • Implement OneStream security protocols to safeguard metadata, user access, and establish controls over entity structures, data translations, chart of accounts, and reporting.
  • Evaluate and execute upgrades to the OneStream platform, communicate impacts, create test plans, and conduct functional testing.
  • Maintain and enhance OneStream business rules and member formulas to meet complex consolidation and reporting needs.
  • Develop logical views, data hierarchies, and reporting structures; create and maintain dashboards and cube views in OneStream.
  • Manage relationships with IT and advocate for OneStream users; coordinate with OneStream customer support and external implementation teams.
  • Train and mentor functional and technical team members to build expertise in OneStream tools and methodologies; maintain comprehensive process documentation.
  • Handle ad-hoc business requests for data extraction and analysis.
  • Undertake additional projects or duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree with 7+ years of relevant experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in reporting implementation for multinational organizations.
  • 4+ years of experience with OneStream, Hyperion, or Hyperion Financial Management (HFM).
  • 4+ years of experience in accounting and financial consolidation and reporting concepts.
  • Proficiency in .NET/C#, SQL coding.
  • Strong financial acumen with a solid understanding of US GAAP accounting standards.
  • Exceptional project management, analytical, and data management skills.
  • Detail-oriented, highly accurate, and creative.
  • Strong organizational and time management capabilities.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and exceptional problem-solving abilities.
  • Able to quickly learn and apply new technical concepts.
  • Ability to understand, develop, and refine processes.
  • Professional demeanor required.
  • Travel requirement of 10% – 15%.
Preferred Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, data analytics, or IT.
  • OneStream Certified Professional (OCP).
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA).
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
  • Experience with JD Edwards ERP systems, Snowflake, and Microsoft Power BI.
  • Knowledge of ESG and Climate Reporting.
