As a Phlebotomist, you will play a vital role in ensuring patient comfort and safety during blood collection procedures. Your attention to detail and excellent hand-eye coordination will make a significant difference in the quality of care provided to our patients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform venipunctures and capillary collections accurately and safely, adhering to the highest standards of patient care.
  • Prepare and label blood samples for laboratory testing, ensuring all necessary information is included.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to infection control protocols.
  • Educate patients about the blood collection process, addressing any concerns or anxieties they may have.
  • Work collaboratively with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care.

Requirements:
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required; certification in phlebotomy is highly preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and empathy are essential for building trust with patients and healthcare teams.
  • The ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment is crucial for success in this role.
  • Attention to detail and excellent hand-eye coordination are necessary for accurate blood collection and sample preparation.
Estimated Salary: $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
