Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Computed Tomography Technologist to join our team at St. Luke's Hospital. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for operating CT scanners to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes. You will work closely with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and efficient imaging procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate CT scanners to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes
  • Assist radiologists during invasive procedures and perform CT scan examinations as directed
  • Communicate clinical observations and patient information to radiologists
  • Inject contrast for CT scans and complete patient questionnaires
  • Perform 3-D imaging functions and provide educational information to patients
  • Maintain responsibility for own professional development through continuing education and active participation in services
  • Accurately adhere to downtime procedures and ensure continuity of care for patients
  • Knowledgeable regarding patient condition, history, and appropriate background information
  • Accountable for quality of digital images sent to PACS and responsible for the success of the department
Requirements
  • Graduate from an ARRT recognized education program or AART registered
  • Advanced registry in CT required
  • One-year staff technologist experience and recent CT Scan experience preferred
  • Current CPR certification required
Working Conditions

Frequent use of hands and fingers to operate equipment and chart information. Sitting for up to 5 hours in 30-minute increments. Standing and walking for up to 3 hours in 15-minute increments. Pushing, pulling, and lifting of patients up to 300 pounds with assistance.
