Key Responsibilities- Coordinate development and production with merchandise vendors to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of products.
- Request samples and follow up on production schedules with vendors to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- Coordinate internal product requests, including event product launches, employee benefits, and belonging groups.
- Maintain Development tracker and Material Master data accuracy to ensure seamless product creation and commercialization.
- Support product SKU creation process, including style numbers, color codes, and UPC generation.
- Assure product commercialization and compliance for global resale into all channels, including testing, legal, copy, and other requirements.
- Maintain product creation timelines with cross-functional teams, including design studio, strategy, marketing, comms, digital, retail, ops, and other departments.
- Provide exceptional customer service to Rivian staff, vendors, business partners, and guests, serving as the primary client interface.
- Coordinate meetings, conference room reservations, and set-ups as needed.
- Attend meetings to take minutes and document other information.
- Manage workload, prioritize tasks, and ensure deadlines are met in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Bachelor's Degree required; Merchandising, Apparel, and/or Retail experience preferred.
- 3-5 years of experience in apparel/merchandise production, product development, project/vendor management.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business documents; ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Strong knowledge of retail math calculations.
- Ability to multi-task and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work effectively and creatively within a team environment and independently.
- Strong math and computer skills in Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Highly detail-oriented and organized.
- Ability to communicate professionally and respond in a timely manner.
- Resourceful and able to research problems and recommend solutions.
- Trend and fashion awareness with ability to understand current trends, competition, and market.
- Proficiency with conferencing systems (Rivian is Zoom-based).
- Flexibility and ability to handle and manage change effectively and efficiently.
