Job Opportunity

We are seeking dedicated and passionate tutors to join our team at Tutor Doctor - Ellenwood.

About the Role

As a tutor with our company, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of students in the Atlanta area. You will work one-on-one with students, providing personalized support and guidance to help them achieve their academic goals.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct in-home tutoring sessions with students of all ages
  • Develop and implement customized tutoring plans tailored to each student's needs
  • Establish clear academic goals and milestones with students and their families
  • Provide constructive feedback and support to students and families
  • Assist students with study skills and organization
  • Align tutoring sessions with the school curriculum
  • Schedule tutoring sessions with clients
  • Maintain a professional and respectful demeanor at all times

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 1 year of tutoring or teaching experience preferred
  • Teacher certification a plus
  • Reliable transportation and access to technology required
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to pass a background check

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in progress or completed
  • 2 or more years of teaching or tutoring experience
  • Strong math skills and ability to support students in various subjects

Compensation

Starting pay is based on experience and the range and complexity of subjects supported.

Work Schedule

  • After-school hours
  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekends as needed
