About Tutor Doctor - Ellenwood

We are a reputable educational services company seeking dedicated and passionate professionals to join our team as Private Tutors. Our mission is to provide high-quality, personalized learning experiences for students of all ages and skill levels.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver one-on-one tutoring sessions to students in their homes
  • Develop and implement tailored tutoring plans to meet individual student needs
  • Establish clear academic goals and milestones with students and their families
  • Provide constructive feedback and support to students and families
  • Assist students in developing effective study skills and strategies
  • Align tutoring sessions with school curriculum and standards
  • Schedule and manage tutoring sessions with clients
  • Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor at all times
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 1 year of tutoring or teaching experience preferred
  • Teacher certification a plus
  • Reliable transportation and access to technology required
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
  • Ability to pass a background check
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in progress or completed
  • 2 or more years of teaching or tutoring experience
  • Strong math skills and knowledge of various subjects
Compensation

Starting pay is based on experience and the range and complexity of subjects taught

Work Schedule
  • After-school hours
  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekends as needed
