About the Role: As a Staff Autonomy Evaluation Lead, you'll drive impact-focused projects that address everyday challenges our AVs face on urban roads. You'll lead evaluation strategies and roadmaps, ensuring comprehensive validation of AV performance with high-fidelity signals. Your expertise will help us improve safety, roadcraft, and compliance metrics for core autonomous capabilities.

About You: To succeed in this role, you'll need a strong software engineering foundation, proficiency in Python, SQL, and machine learning. A Master's or PhD degree in Robotics, Transportation, Physics, or Aerospace Engineering is required, along with 5+ years of experience in evaluating large models, data science, or a closely-related field.

What You'll Do: As a tech lead, you'll define success criteria from ambiguous problem statements, drive evaluation strategies and roadmaps, and ensure comprehensive validation of AV performance with high-fidelity signals. You'll also mentor fellow Data Scientists and foster a positive, collaborative work environment.
