Overview: Are you interested in becoming a vital part of a forward-thinking team as a Quality Assurance Specialist? In this position, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the integrity of products and processes. Below are the key responsibilities and qualifications:

  • Manage the disposition of non-conforming materials (NCMR)
  • Lead or assist in investigations of product complaints to determine root causes
  • Initiate and supervise Corrective Action and Preventive Action (CAPA) processes
  • Oversee changes and related documentation in accordance with established standards and policies
  • Conduct inspections of incoming parts (70% Mechanical, 30% Electrical)
  • Perform inspections during the production process

Essential Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience:

  • High School diploma or GED equivalent
  • 2-5 years of relevant experience in Document Control, Inspection, and Quality Assurance
  • Familiarity with SAP PLM (1-2 years preferred)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Effective communication skills in a technical setting
  • Team-oriented with a focus on customer satisfaction
  • No travel required

Preferred Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience:

  • Experience in the Medical Device or Biotech sectors
  • Familiarity with Document Control Platforms such as Arena or Agile
  • Ability to work semi-independently within a regulated environment

Additional Information:

Standard work hours are from 9 am to 5 pm, with flexibility for core hours (8 am to 4 pm).
