We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Radiology Coordinator to join our team at New York Imaging Service. As a Radiology Coordinator, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our diagnostic imaging department.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Pay close attention to detail to ensure accurate patient scheduling, authorization, and clinical documentation.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and technologists to address scheduling issues and changes.
  • Ensure timely completion of tasks assigned by supervisors and maintain a high level of organization.
  • Address messages from staff, departments, and medical offices while adhering to HIPAA guidelines.
  • Organize and maintain the Onco inbox for assigned modalities.
  • Respond to email inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience in radiology scheduling is required.
  • Experience working with medical records and familiarity with HIPAA regulations.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
