The Personal Banker Associate 2 role is designed to provide a comprehensive understanding of retail consumer and small business products/services, with a primary focus on sales development and relationship building through the promotion of deposits, loans, fee-based services, and customer retention.
This position requires a strong ability to develop comfort with sales activities designed to acquire new consumer household and small business customers, as well as cross-sell to existing customers.
Responsibilities include:
- Utilizing the consultative sales process and Financial Needs Assessment to build a thorough customer profile and identify current and future financial needs.
- Maintaining an in-depth knowledge of Retail consumer and small business products/services and recommending appropriate solutions using our value proposition.
- Primarily focused on cross-selling to existing customer base and engaging in outside sales activities, such as Membership Advantage onsite presentations, business sales calls, and community financial literacy events.
- Establishing close working relationships with assigned Business Partners, referring customers when appropriate to provide timely and holistic financial solutions.
