We are seeking a skilled neonatologist to join our team at Riverside Regional Medical Center in Newport News, Virginia.
About the Role:
This opportunity is for a medical director who will provide coverage of our 22-bed Level 3 NICU, including newborn nursery care, with an average daily census of 14 patients. The ideal candidate will have experience in jet ventilators, high-frequency jet ventilation, inhaled nitric oxide, and whole-body cooling services.
Responsibilities:
- Covering NICU and newborn nursery shifts
- Collaborating with NNP night coverage
- Providing educational opportunities for Family Practice and OB/GYN residents, as well as medical students
Qualifications:
A board-certified or board-eligible neonatologist with expertise in level 3 NICU care is required.
