About the Job
Pediatrix Medical Group, Inc. has an exciting opportunity for a Board Certified Neonatologist to lead our NICU team at Mary Immaculate Hospital in Newport News, VA.

As a Medical Director, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and leadership to our 3-physician and 2-NNP practice. You will oversee prenatal consults, NICU coverage, newborn coverage, and delivery attendance. Our coverage model includes both in-house and at-home call, supporting our team of experienced neonatal nurse practitioners and physicians assistants. Each Neonatologist will cover 1/3 of the shifts each month, splitting in-house and at-home call, allowing for a flexible schedule and balanced lifestyle.

Responsibilities:
  • Prenatal consults
  • NICU coverage
  • Newborn coverage
  • Delivery attendance

Requirements:
  • Board Certified in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine
  • VA license (or willing to obtain)
  • Previous employment experience in leadership role(s)
