Job Description

Overview

Comfortmax Energy Solutions is a leading electrical contracting company specializing in commercial and industrial solar energy projects. We are seeking an experienced Solar Project Manager to lead and coordinate our solar installation projects, ensuring timely and within-budget completion.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate solar installation projects from initial assessment to completion
  • Conduct site evaluations and feasibility studies to determine project viability
  • Develop detailed project plans using project management software and collaborate with sales teams to meet customer requirements
  • Coordinate with installation teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure quality and compliance
  • Manage project budgets, track costs, and ensure compliance with electrical codes and energy regulations
  • Address and resolve project issues and maintain effective communication with stakeholders
  • Facilitate customer education on solar system maintenance and performance

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, project management, or related field
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in managing solar energy projects
  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Asana, Trello)
  • Strong understanding of solar system design, installation, and maintenance
  • Excellent organizational, leadership, and decision-making skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Familiarity with local and national regulations related to solar installations
  • PMP certification is a plus
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
