Maintenance Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Supervisor to lead our maintenance team and oversee the maintenance and capital improvement needs of our properties. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in maintenance and leadership, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and mentor the maintenance team to ensure efficient and effective maintenance operations
- Oversee maintenance and capital improvement projects to ensure they are completed on time and within budget
- Develop and implement maintenance schedules and programs to ensure the most economical and safe condition of the properties
- Inspect properties and common areas daily to detect maintenance problems and coordinate repairs
- Coordinate and complete maintenance requests within 24 hours
- Change air-conditioning filters every six months and upon apartment turnover
- Inspect apartments semi-annually and perform maintenance inspections and repairs as needed
- Follow a preventative maintenance schedule and maintain all maintenance shops and storage rooms in an orderly fashion
- Properly secure all parts, inventory, and property equipment
- Maintain an inventory of parts to make necessary repairs and ensure timely completion of all duties by maintenance staff personnel
- Comply with all FPI policies and procedures and perform other duties as assigned by the Community Director
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar leadership role, preferably within residential property management
- High School diploma or equivalency certificate required; industry certification or designation preferred
- Valid driver's license and good driving record required; may require a respirator and ability to be medically fit for duty
- Proficient in speaking, reading, and writing in English
- Proficient computer skills, including MS Office, Google Apps, and property management-related software
