Job Summary

As a Maintenance Supervisor with FPI Management, Inc., you will lead and mentor a team of maintenance personnel to ensure the efficient and safe operation of our multifamily properties. Your expertise in maintenance and capital improvement will drive the success of our communities, meeting the expectations of our clients and exceeding their satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a daily and preventative maintenance program to maintain the property's condition.
  • Inspect the property and common areas daily to identify maintenance issues and address them promptly.
  • Coordinate and complete maintenance requests within 24 hours, ensuring timely resolution of issues.
  • Change air-conditioning filters every six months and upon apartment turnover, and inspect all apartments semi-annually.
  • Follow a preventative maintenance schedule, serve as on-call maintenance, and respond to after-hours requests for lockout service.
  • Perform maintenance inspections and repairs on vacant apartments, maintain equipment, and secure parts and inventory.
  • Ensure timely completion of duties by maintenance staff, comply with FPI policies and procedures, and perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar leadership role, preferably in residential property management.
  • High School diploma or equivalency certificate required, with industry certification or designation preferred.
  • Valid driver's license, good driving record, and current motor vehicle insurance meeting state requirements.
  • Ability to wear a respirator, be medically fit for duty, and comply with FPI's facial hair policy.
  • Proficient in speaking, reading, and writing in English, and proficient in computer skills, including MS Office, Google Apps, and property management software.
