Role Summary

This Administrative Support Specialist position plays a critical role in supporting our Human Resources team's daily operations. The successful candidate will possess excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities and maintain confidentiality.

The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of experience in an HR administrative or assistant role, preferably within the poultry processing, manufacturing, or similar industrial sectors. Experience with HR software, specifically Paycom, is preferred. Familiarity with working in a unionized environment and understanding of union contracts is a plus.

  • Responsibilities:
  • Recruitment & Staffing:
  • Assist with recruitment activities, including screening candidates, conducting interviews, and scheduling tours for production and warehouse roles.
  • Employee Relations:
  • Serve as the first point of contact for employee inquiries, addressing concerns, issues, and requests related to HR policies, benefits, payroll, and workplace issues.
  • HR Documentation and Recordkeeping:
  • Maintain and update employee records in the HRIS (Human Resource Information System), ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Payroll Support:
  • Assist with the preparation and administration of payroll for hourly and salaried employees, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
  • Training & Compliance:
  • Assist with scheduling and tracking employee training sessions, ensuring that all staff complete required courses on company policies, safety protocols, and job-specific skills.

The estimated annual salary for this role is $55,000-$65,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
