Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Clinical Mental Health Specialist to join our team at the Center for Counseling & Psychological Services (CCPS). This dynamic position will provide individual therapy and other clinical services to adults in a community mental health program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individual therapy and other clinical services to adults in a community mental health program.
  • Collaborate with the Division Co-Director to develop and implement treatment plans.
  • Participate in weekly individual clinical supervision and group supervision related to co-occurring substance misuse, DBT skills, and trauma treatment.
  • Co-facilitate groups and provide trauma-informed services in an outpatient clinic setting.
Requirements
  • Possession of a master's degree in a relevant field.
  • Eligibility for licensure in the respective discipline.
  • One to three years of mental health experience preferred.
Physical Requirements
  • Prolonged periods of sitting and standing during therapy sessions and administrative tasks.
  • Effective verbal communication, including the ability to clearly convey information both in-person and over the phone.
  • Basic manual dexterity to handle documentation and computer-related tasks.
  • Mobility to move within the office environment and between different work locations.
