About This Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal Project Engineer to join our team at Baxter. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading complex projects and ensuring their successful completion within scope, cost, quality, and schedule requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Definition and Planning
    • Define overall project scope and establish detailed project plans, including project charters, RACI matrices, and project presentations.
    • Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans.
  • Project Execution and Management
    • Lead cross-functional project teams to ensure successful project execution and delivery.
    • Coordinate and manage project activities, including project meetings, status updates, and issue resolution.
  • Project Monitoring and Control
    • Monitor and control project progress, including tracking project metrics, identifying and mitigating risks, and implementing corrective actions.
    • Provide regular project status updates to stakeholders, including project sponsors, team members, and senior management.
  • Project Closure and Evaluation
    • Ensure project closure and handover to operations, including project documentation, knowledge transfer, and lessons learned.
    • Evaluate project success and identify areas for improvement, including lessons learned and best practices.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, or Mechatronics Engineering preferred).
    • 10+ years of experience in project management, with a proven track record of delivering complex projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Skills and Competencies
    • Strong project management skills, including project planning, execution, monitoring, and control.
    • Excellent leadership and communication skills, including the ability to lead cross-functional teams and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to identify and mitigate risks, and implement corrective actions.
    • Knowledge of project management methodologies, including Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid.
    • Experience with project management tools and software, including MS Project, Asana, Trello, and Jira.
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary range of $96,000 - $132,000 annually, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
