Key Responsibilities
  • Investigate and evaluate complex claims to determine coverage and potential exposures
  • Develop and implement effective disposition strategies to resolve claims efficiently
  • Monitor and manage underlying aggregates and primary files to ensure proper reporting of potential exposures
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely and adequate reserving and proper disposition of high exposure, complex claims
  • Conduct loss investigations and determine where recoveries can be made
  • Provide technical oversight of Third-Party Administrators
  • Maintain accurate written records of relevant activities relating to the claim
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external customers
  • Report and communicate with reinsurers
  • Liaise and build relationships with internal and external departments
  • Summarize and update Claims Manager on a regular basis
Requirements
  • Significant progression towards insurance or industry-related qualification
  • Advanced experience handling construction defect claims
  • Highest standards of personal and professional conduct
