Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team at Providence Portland Medical Center. As a Cardiology Imaging Technologist, you will be responsible for capturing high-quality images of the heart and its blood vessels using various imaging modalities.

Responsibilities
  • Operate imaging equipment, including CT scanners, MRI machines, and fluoroscopy units, to capture high-quality images of the heart and its blood vessels.
  • Position patients for optimal image capture, ensuring accurate and precise imaging.
  • Collaborate with cardiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient imaging procedures and results.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to ensure high-quality patient care and optimal imaging outcomes.
Requirements
  • Current certification in radiologic technology and ACLS, BLS, PALS, NRP, CHEMO, EFM, Tech Cert Verification, State License 1 Verification, NURSYS Verification, IV Certification, MAB, NIH Stroke Certification, and CPI.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in radiology, preferably in a hospital setting.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with healthcare professionals.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information.
