Job Summary:

The Pest Control Specialist - Seasonal Service Technician will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to pest control services, including inspections, treatments, and customer interactions. This role requires a high level of attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough inspections of residential and commercial properties to identify pest infestations and recommend treatment options.
  • Perform various pest control treatments, including liquid applications and baiting systems.
  • Interact with customers to provide excellent service, answer questions, and address concerns.
  • Maintain accurate records of treatments, customer interactions, and other relevant information.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve team goals and support business growth.

Requirements:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; some college coursework or certifications in entomology, biology, or a related field preferred.
  • Experience: Prior experience in pest control, sales, or customer service an asset.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; attention to detail; ability to work independently and as part of a team; basic math skills and ability to read and understand safety protocols.
