Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Lowcountry Medical Practice Management. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will work closely with counselors and therapists to provide comprehensive mental health care to our clients.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct psychiatric evaluations of adults and children, and develop personalized treatment plans
  • Prescribe medications and provide supportive psychotherapy as needed
  • Collaborate with counselors and therapists to ensure seamless care coordination
  • Utilize evidence-based practices and proprietary data to optimize care and outcomes
  • Provide psychiatric services to include medication management, therapy, and education
Requirements
  • Current PMHNP License in the state of Virginia
  • Board certification (AANP or ANCC)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Empathetic and intuitive listener with excellent rapport-building skills
  • Computer literate with experience in electronic health records
  • Comfortable prescribing for anxiety, depression, insomnia, mood disorders, and ADHD
  • Legally authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis
