About Frontline Wildfire Defense

We're a team of passionate individuals dedicated to protecting homes and communities from wildfire. Our mission is to provide innovative solutions that enable customers to track wildfires, receive important alerts, and safely navigate a wildfire, while protecting their homes with our remotely operated Frontline Wildfire Defense System.

About This Opportunity

We're seeking a highly organized and hands-on Field Technician to join our team. This role offers room for advancement and bonus opportunities after certification is achieved. Construction, plumbing, or electrical experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

As a Field Technician, you will be an integral member of our crew, working in a positive team environment. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Installing Frontline Wildfire Defense Systems on residential customers' homes
  • Layout and assembly of necessary pipework
  • Installation of sprinklers and proper sealing of all roof penetrations
  • Assembly and installation of equipment to stucco, concrete, roofing, siding, etc.
  • Wiring system components (low voltage)
  • Occasional performance of trenching, concrete work, and traffic control
  • Handling project clean up on a daily basis
  • Maintenance and organization of inventory of vehicles and storage locations
  • Travel required up to 75% during the summer busy season with overnight stays required
Qualifications

We're looking for a detail-oriented and highly motivated team player with:

  • Construction-related experience
  • Roof experience a plus
  • Ability to follow instructions, learn quickly, and know when to ask questions
  • Experience working outdoors under various weather conditions
  • Ability to transport materials and equipment to complete assigned job tasks (up to 50 pounds frequently and up to 100 pounds with assistance)
  • Excellent documentation skills
  • Professional appearance and strong customer relation skills
  • Maintain a valid Driver's License
  • Willingness to travel/reliable transportation
  • Able to pass a background check
Compensation

Compensation will be dependent on experience. Long-term career pathway and quarterly bonus opportunities available.
