Job Summary

We are seeking a highly qualified Economics Instructor to join our team at College of DuPage. As an adjunct faculty member, you will be responsible for teaching Economics courses and contributing to the academic success of our students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach Economics courses in a classroom, lab, or clinical setting, utilizing various delivery modes such as face-to-face, online, hybrid, and blended formats.
  • Develop and implement course plans, assessments, and evaluations to ensure student learning outcomes.
  • Provide academic support and guidance to students, including office hours and online support.
  • Stay current with developments in Economics and incorporate relevant topics into course materials.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum changes and improvements.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Economics or a related field, with at least 18 graduate-level hours in Economics.
  • Experience in teaching Economics at the college level, with a focus on engaging students and promoting academic success.
  • Ability to teach face-to-face on campus classes, as well as online or virtual teaching experience.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, colleagues, and administrators.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in curriculum development and implementation.
  • Knowledge of educational technology and online learning platforms.
  • Ability to teach in a multicultural environment and adapt to diverse learning styles.
