College of DuPage is seeking a qualified Economics instructor to teach courses in a multicultural environment. The successful candidate will be committed to facilitating student success and welcome the opportunity to work with students with diverse learning abilities.
Key Responsibilities- Teach Economics courses in a classroom, lab, or clinical setting, utilizing various delivery modes such as face-to-face, online, hybrid, and blended formats.
- Develop and implement course plans, assessments, and evaluations to ensure student learning outcomes.
- Provide timely and accurate submission of required paperwork related to instruction.
- Engage students in the learning process, promoting academic success and fostering a positive learning environment.
- Master's degree in Economics or a Master's degree with at least 18 graduate-level hours in Economics.
- Graduate-level Macroeconomics and Microeconomics coursework.
- College-level teaching experience and proficiency in designing instruction to engage students.
- Ability to teach face-to-face on-campus classes.
- Experience in online or virtual teaching, with access to personal technology and a home computer.
