Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and maintain surgical instruments and equipment for use during procedures.
  • Assist surgeons and other medical staff during operations, ensuring that all necessary instruments and supplies are available.
  • Monitor and maintain a safe and clean environment in the Operating Room, adhering to all infection control protocols.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and efficient workflow.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest surgical techniques and technologies.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Successful completion of a Postsecondary certificate or associate degree in Surgical Technology from an accredited program preferred.
  • American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and maintain a calm demeanor under pressure.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals.
