Job Title: Licensed Vocational Nurse

Elwyn is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our team in residential group homes. As an LVN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to individuals with autism, intellectual and developmental disabilities, and related behavioral health challenges.

Job Summary:

The LVN will perform general nursing procedures, behavior management, direct care, and training as dictated by the individuals' health and behavioral care needs. This includes performing nursing procedures as authorized within the scope of practice, participating in the interdisciplinary team, and contributing to the development of the Individual Support Plan.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide general nursing procedures, behavior management, direct care, and training as dictated by the individuals' health and behavioral care needs.
  • Perform nursing procedures as authorized within the scope of practice.
  • Participate as a member of the interdisciplinary team and contribute to the development of the Individual Support Plan.
  • Function as lead staff on the shift and oversee DSPs and/or CNAs.
  • Responsible for providing active programming at all times.
  • Responsible for adherence to standards, procedures, and schedules established by their supervisor.
  • Ensure that any suspicion of or knowledge of suspected abuse is reported in accordance with the law and program policies.
Requirements:
  • Valid California driver's license and acceptable driving history.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Possess and maintain a valid, active license from the State of California to practice as a Licensed Vocational Nurse or Licensed Psychiatric Technician.
  • Minimum 1 year experience with Human Services field preferred.
