We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team in the 6 West Ortho/Trauma Unit at UPMC Western Maryland. As a Registered Nurse in this unit, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of patients, including those with orthopedic, trauma, neurological, and medical-surgical conditions.

Responsibilities

As a Registered Nurse in our Ortho/Trauma Unit, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, including:

  • Assessing patients' physical and emotional needs
  • Developing and implementing individualized care plans
  • Providing education and support to patients and their families
  • Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A current RN license in the state where the facility is located or a state covered by a licensure compact agreement
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Ability to work productively and effectively within a complex environment, and handle multiple/changing priorities and specialized equipment
