Job Title: Respiratory Therapist

We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at PHS Presbyterian Espanola Hospital. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare team.

Job Summary:

The Respiratory Therapist will be responsible for assessing, treating, and caring for patients with respiratory disorders. This includes providing oxygen therapy, ventilator management, and other respiratory interventions as needed. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, and a passion for delivering exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities:
  • Assess and treat patients with respiratory disorders, including oxygen therapy and ventilator management
  • Develop and implement individualized respiratory care plans
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide comprehensive patient care
  • Monitor and maintain patient records, including vital signs and treatment plans
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and industry developments
Requirements:
  • Current licensure as a Respiratory Therapist in the state of New Mexico
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy or a related field
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Respiratory Therapist
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
