Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement organization-wide projects and processes to ensure continuous quality improvement.
  • Drive quality improvement processes to reduce product Scrap, Rework and Repair (SRR) costs, Internal Defects and escapes.
  • Direct collection and analysis of quality information from multiple sources to develop long-term quality strategy and programs.
  • Direct production process analyses to ensure quality standards are met and make recommendations for quality improvement.
  • Establish, oversee, and coordinate quality policy and practice.
  • Seek out and incorporate lessons learned and industry best practices.
Requirements
  • Previous people leadership experience.
  • Previous background leading in a Quality organization.
  • Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 12 years of relevant experience.
  • U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or granted refugee or asylee status).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in the Aviation industry.
  • Experience with AS9100 Quality Management Systems.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Competence in root cause corrective action methodologies.
