Nuclear Medicine Technologist Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team at AMN Healthcare Allied in Rochester, New York. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality patient care using cutting-edge nuclear medicine technology.

Estimated Salary: $2273.90 - $2619.93 per week (based on 13 weeks assignment)Job Responsibilities:
  • Reviews patient history and physician's orders to ensure accurate treatment plans.
  • Educates patients regarding procedures, equipment, and exams to ensure understanding and cooperation.
  • Positions patients and performs imaging procedures, ensuring proper techniques for optimal image quality.
  • Analyzes results and identifies issues with imaging quality, taking corrective action as needed.
  • Enters, transmits, and reports scan results accurately and efficiently.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) or Registered Radiologic Technologist (RT) with Nuclear Medicine certification.
  • New York State License.
  • BLS Certification from the American Heart Association.
  • At least 2 years of experience in nuclear medicine, preferably with CT certified experience and PE/CT background.
