Travel Nuclear Medicine Imaging Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team in Rochester, New York.
About the RoleThis 13-week travel assignment offers a competitive pay rate and comprehensive benefits package. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing nuclear medicine imaging procedures, analyzing results, and ensuring high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Review patient history and physician orders to ensure accurate procedure planning.
- Educate patients regarding procedures, equipment, and exams to ensure understanding and cooperation.
- Position patients and perform imaging procedures using specialized equipment.
- Ensure proper imaging techniques and adjust as needed for optimal image quality.
- Analyze scan results, identify potential issues, and take corrective action.
- Enter, transmit, and report scan results to healthcare professionals.
- Maintain accurate records of radiopharmaceuticals, including ordering, preparing, administering, storing, and disposing of these substances.
- Certification as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) or registration as a Radiologic Technologist (RT) with certification in Nuclear Medicine (NM) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
- New York State License.
- BLS (American Heart Association).
- At least 2 years of experience in Nuclear Medicine.
This role offers a competitive salary range of $2273.90 - $2619.93 per week, tax-free stipend, medical, dental, vision, 401(k), flex spending, life insurance, accident and short-term disability coverage, free continuing education, and a competitive housing deal.
