Key Responsibilities
  • Assess patients' physical and emotional needs, develop individualized care plans, and implement evidence-based interventions.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Monitor patients' progress, identify potential complications, and take appropriate action to prevent adverse outcomes.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families, promoting healthy behaviors and self-care practices.
  • Contribute to quality improvement initiatives, participating in data collection, analysis, and process improvement activities.
Requirements

To be successful as a Cardiac Care Specialist, you will need:

  • A current State of California Registered Nurse license.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or related field preferred.
  • At least 1 year of experience in cardiology, critical care, or a related field.
  • Excellent clinical skills, with a focus on cardiovascular health and disease management.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
  • Able to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
